Digital Photography Having shot my first photo when I was 8 with a simple kodak focus-free film point-&-shoot, I got hooked on shooting photographs. As I grew up, I became more picky with the less-than-pin-sharp photos when I compared my photos to those in the papers and magazines and was given some photography lessons by my father. I upgraded to an auto focus minolta film compact camera when I was 16 and had lots of joy shooting photos. I brought my camera almost everywhere I went! I then tried my hands on film SLR, single lens reflex. Waiting for my photos to be processed and paying like $20 each time was breaking my bank, I then took a break from shooting.I believe that everyone should have the basic know-how to produce decent images for the web or personal collections. The arrival of digital cameras brought about a whole new breath of life to my passion for photography. With the advent of digital photography, it has made this the learning cycle far shorter than what I gone through in the film days. I've learnt most of my digital photography skills from the web, building on the film basics imparted from my father. I do hope you have learnt something from this website and if you want to contribute anything back to the web, like I did, or buy me a coffee, do feel free to drop me a mail. |
